i'm sure it's completely normal, but i am a little bit afraid to take Adelle out to any public places. even church seems like too much of a risk for my little one's immune system (especially at this time of year), so since she was born, we've been at home for a great majority of the time. yesterday, she and i did venture out to my sister Lori's, where we took advantage of her nice camera and artistic eye to get a few cute pics of Adelle before she's too grown up and we forget how cute and little she is now. here are a few favorites (thanks, Lori!):

oh my GOSH those pictures are adorable. she is such a beautiful baby! you guys did good work ;)
so cute!
We didn't leave the house much in the beginning either - who cares! Do what you want to do - it's your baby. I think it's great to just enjoy this time. It is nice (and vital) to get out of the house form time to time to go and do something that you want to do. Feel free to come over here whenever you just need a change of scenery. You're doing a great job!
She's precious, Heidi :)
don't worry, raw. i'll be there in a couple of weeks to give you all the change in scenery you need (it helps you're friends with a grade A hottie) that will do enough psychological damage to your infant that you'll have an excuse to stay in for the weeks after in an attempt to reverse all that i plan to do.
bwahahaha!
kidding. i'm very excited to hold sandwich.
She is so adorable! Congrats!
Heidi, I didn't take Hannah out the first few weeks either. Even the trip between the hospital door and the car was traumatic for me. Suddenly the world felt so...dirty. Loud. Dangerous. I wanted to turn around and take her back to the quiet, warm and safe nursery. The worry does fade a little with time though, so if you're getting cabin fever, don't worry. You could always leave her at home with your husband for an hour, just to get some air. One step at a time!
your daughter is absolutely beautiful! Congratulations Heidi!!!
It was great to see you at church on Sunday. I wish I would have been able to chat with you more {maybe next time I shouldn't procrastinate my lesson, huh?}. If you guys need anything, let me know. We won't be around to help you guys move :( but we'll be around until Saturday and then after the new year. Hope you're doing well!
